One of my enduring loves is the humble little Morris Minor Ute.
Now I have had this one for about 4 years and have always planed to do a rebuild when I got the time. Well that time arrived about 6 weeks ago, so into the yard with her and down to small sections did she go.





A while ago I got a 2 door sedan by the name of Oscar from a friendly fellow in Ipswich here in Queensland and after driving it home to the shock of all concerened did cut it in half.







I have since cleaned up the old ute chassis and removed the chassis from the 2 door (or what was left of it) and have now mounted the 2d onto the chassis and I am in the process of building a new floor and rear subframe...
the reason for a 2 door rebuild is that the 2 door has longer doors than the Std Ute by a good 4in (100mm) and I am therefore building a Kingcab Ute.
